Accucold ARS18PV456 18 Cu. Ft. Upright Vaccine Refrigerator

The ARS18PV456 is an 18 cu.ft. refrigerator that can be adjusted to temperatures between +2 and +8ºC. Its microprocessor temperature controller is conveniently located outside to minimize door openings, which helps protect stored contents from changes in ambient temperature. The temperature probe is enclosed in a bottle filled with glycol for more accurate temperature simulation, while an additional sensor monitors air temperature for superior control. The current and min/max temperature display can be viewed in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree, providing precise measurements. If the interior temperature goes out of range, an audible and visual alarm will sound. Other alarms include alerts for power failure, open door, and sensor failure. For added monitoring, the unit has remote alarm contacts in the back and a 1/2" probe port on the right side. Additionally, it comes with a hospital-grade cord with a 'green dot' plug for increased safety in busy areas.

Inside, the ARS18PV456 utilizes adjustable cycle defrost operation to avoid temperature spikes. Optimized forced air cooling with one internal fan ensures excellent temperature stability and uniformity with rapid recovery after door openings. The adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves can be positioned at 1/2" increments to accommodate virtually any sized item. We include seven shelves, more than competitor products providing to maximize interior shelving storage area. This unit includes LED internal lighting with an on/off rocker switch. The interior is constructed from white powder coated metal to ensure added durability and better temperature retention.

The ARS18PV456 comes in a white exterior finish with a blue accented control panel and self-closing door. The factory-installed antimicrobial handle is powder-coated with naturally occurring silver ions, which help to reduce the spread of germs, allowing for a safer, cleaner user experience. This model includes a factory-installed lock and ships with two keys for staff use. Powerful magnetic gaskets ensure a positive seal. Four pre-installed 3" high casters with brakes make it easier to move as needed.

ABOUT NSF 456: NSF/ANSI 456 is a voluntary standard introduced in 2021 that was designed to establish the performance and construction requirements for vaccine refrigeration. Models certified to this standard undergo strict testing to confirm temperatury consistency. All Accucold units approved to NSF 456 for vaccine storage are certified by an independent testing agency.
