Accucold ARS2PV456 2 Cu. Ft. Compact Vaccine Refrigerator

The Accucold ARS2PV456 is a 1.94 cu. ft. refrigerator designed for storing vaccines. With an adjustable temperature range of +2 to +8ºC and an externally located microprocessor temperature controller, this refrigerator minimizes door openings to protect stored contents from ambient temperature. The included buffered temperature probe, encased in a glycol-filled bottle, accurately simulates the temperature of the stored product, while an additional air temperature sensor ensures precise temperature control. The current and min/max temperature display can be viewed in either Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree. To further ensure the safety of stored vaccines, this unit features an audible and visual temperature alarm, as well as alerts for power failure, open doors, and sensor failures. For added monitoring capabilities, this unit is equipped with remote alarm contacts and a probe port. Safety is also prioritized with a hospital-grade cord and green dot plug for high traffic areas.

Inside, the ARGSPV456 utilizes adjustable cycle defrost operation to avoid temperature spikes. Optimized forced air cooling with one internal fan ensures excellent temperature stability and uniformity with rapid recovery after door openings. The adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves can be positioned at 1/2" increments to accommodate virtually any sized item. This unit includes LED internal lighting with an on/off rocker switch. The interior is constructed from white powder coated metal to ensure added durability and better temperature retention. 

The ARS2PV456 comes in a white cabinet finish with a blue accented control panel. The factory-installed antimicrobial handle is powder-coated with naturally occurring silver ions, which help to reduce the spread of germs, allowing for a safer, cleaner user experience. The door ships with a right hand swing and self-closing function. This model includes a factory-installed lock and ships with two keys for staff use. Powerful magnetic gaskets ensure a positive seal.

Designed with hydrocarbon refrigerant, this unit provides an energy efficient solution to vaccine storage. This unit is Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX compatible. ABOUT NSF 456: NSF/ANSI 456 is a voluntary standard introduced in 2021 that was designed to establish the performance and construction requirements for vaccine refrigeration. Models certified to this standard undergo strict testing to confirm temperatury consistency. All Accucold units approved to NSF 456 for vaccine storage are certified by an independent testing agency.
