The Accucold 8 Cu.Ft. Upright Vaccine Refrigerator, Certified to NSF/ANSI 456 Vaccine Storage Standard ARS8PV456, is an 8 cu.ft. all-refrigerator designed for pharmaceutical storage. Its adjustable control range, from +2 to +8ºC, is externally located and helps minimize door openings to protect stored contents from ambient temperature. The glycol-filled bottle encasing the buffered temperature probe simulates the temperature of the stored product, combined with an additional air temperature sensor for precise temperature control. The digital display shows current and min/max temperatures in both Celsius and Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree. This unit also features an audible and visual temperature alarm, as well as alarms for power failure, door open, and sensor failure. Inside, the ARS8PV456 utilizes adjustable cycle defrost operation to avoid temperature spikes. Optimized forced air cooling with two internal fans ensures excellent temperature stability and uniformity with rapid recovery after door openings. The adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves can be positioned at 1/2" increments to accommodate virtually any sized item. We include seven shelves, more than competitor products providing to maximize interior shelving storage area. This unit includes LED internal lighting with an on/off rocker switch. The interior is constructed from white powder coated metal to ensure added durability and better temperature retention. 

The ARS8PV456 comes in a white cabinet finish with a blue accented control panel. The factory-installed antimicrobial handle is powder-coated with naturally occurring silver ions, which help to reduce the spread of germs, allowing for a safer, cleaner user experience. The door ships with a right hand swing and self-closing function. This model includes a factory-installed lock and ships with two keys for staff use. Powerful magnetic gaskets ensure a positive seal.

Designed with hydrocarbon refrigerant, the ARS8PV456 provides an energy efficient solution to vaccine storage. This unit is Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX compatible. ABOUT NSF 456: NSF/ANSI 456 is a voluntary standard introduced in 2021 that was designed to establish the performance and construction requirements for vaccine refrigeration. Models certified to this standard undergo strict testing to confirm temperatury consistency. All Accucold units approved to NSF 456 for vaccine storage are certified by an independent testing agency.
